The Thundermans - Max to the Future Transcript

Setting: Thunderman living room. Max walks in on Phoebe while she's practicing how to fight with a bo staff.

Max: Ooh! Love me a good limbo! (Max goes under the bo staff that Phoebe holds, as if he's doing the limbo) How low can you go? How low can you go-- (in pain) Ohhh!!!

Phoebe smacks Max hard with the bo staff. Max falls to the floor.

Max: (displeased) Why?!

Phoebe: It's a bo staff. I'm training with it so I can add it as one of my special skills to our Z-Force application. Wanna see some more moves? (makes a battle pose)

Max: (horrified) No, no, I like my bones.

Max uses Phoebe's bo staff to help him up.

Phoebe: Check it out. We list enough amazing talents on this baby, we'll stand out from our competition.

Max: Well, I was gonna give you my list of special skills. You know, before you went all kung fu Phoebe on me.

Phoebe unfolds a paper that listed her special skills.

Phoebe: (reads the list) Let's see, freeze breath, telekinesis... (stops) Max, we both have these powers. Special skills are what you bring to the Z-Force that no one else does.

Max: Well, then put down "slow-motion arm farting". (farts in his armpit slowly.)

Phoebe looks at Max in disgust.

Phoebe: I will not. (sits on the couch)

Max: Okay, fine. What'd you got on your list?

Phoebe: Well, to name a few... (reads the list in faster speed) Code-breaking, conversational Japanese, hardcore turkey calls, knot-tying, space-jumping, spelunking, accents, photographic memory, (slows down) and speed-talking.

Max: Well, you didn't read the last special skill on my list, "inventing gadgets".

Phoebe: (scoffs) Yeah.

Max gives Phoebe a look on his face.

Phoebe: Oh, you're serious? Come on, Max. Name one of your gadgets that didn't backfire.

Max: The "Nose Hair-alyzer".

Phoebe: Gave Nora a beard.

Max: The "super villain eye patch".

Phoebe: Turned a child evil.

Max: The "BrainMelt".

Phoebe: Speaks for itself.

Max: Well, you haven't seen my newest gadget. (Takes out a brush. The back of the brush had a tube of a turquoise-colored hair gel substance inside)

Phoebe: A brush?

Max: It's not just a brush, Phoebe. It's a gel brush. Hair gel and a brush together at last!

Phoebe: Wow. Can't wait to see how this blows up in your face.

The hair gel squirts out of the tube, into Max's face.

Phoebe: And, that's out.

As Max tries to turn his head away from the messiness, he falls down.

Setting - Thunderman dining room. Barb and her husband Hank walk in on the younger Thunderman kids, Nora, Billy, and Chloe while they're eating their cereal.

Hank: Barb, I keep getting mean chirps from that guy on my bowling league. Look. (shows the phone to Barb, reads) "You put the gut in gutter ball."

Billy: Why is someone sending you mean chirps, Dad?

Barb: Ever since everyone found out your dad's Thunder Man, this guy Nico is saying he used his powers to win last year's bowling championship.

Hank's phone chirps.

Hank: "Butthead"? (angry) No, you're the butthead!!!

Barb: Uh, Hank, watch your language.

Chloe: (putting both of her arms up) Butthead!

Hank: Sorry. It's just that... (takes out the trophy out of a shelf) I won this trophy fair and square and there's nothing that two-faced magician can say to change that.

Billy: A magician? Named Nico? As in "The Amazing Nico"?

Chloe stares at Billy and Nora, with an excited look on her face.

Nora: He's our favorite!

Billy: Yeah, he's way better than that magician you got for my birthday, "Good-Enough Greg".

Chloe: That guy made the fun disappear.

Nora: Nico's big trick is that he can walk through walls.

Hank: Whoop-dee-doo, I fly through the ceiling every day.

Barb: Yeah, about that, please stop.

Billy: Dad, can you take us to meet Nico?

Hank: Absolutely not.

Nora: (gets up from her chair) Guys, Dad's taking us to meet The Amazing Nico!

Hank: No, no, no, no, no. I did not say that.

The kids get up from their seats.

Kids: (cheering) Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad! Dad!

Barb: So sweet of you, Hank!

Barb and the kids leave the dining room.

Hank: What just happened?

***

Setting - Max's lair. Max is fixing up a gadget under a cover. The family pet, a rabbit named Dr. Colosso, watches him.

Max: She says I stink at gadgets? She's the one that stinks.

Dr. Colosso: Yeah, she does.

Max: I worked all night on this.

Dr. Colosso: Yeah, you did.

Max: Don't tell me I don't have any special skills.

Dr. Colosso: (talking on the phone) Okay, Mommy. Love you too.

Max checks up on Colosso.

Dr. Colosso: Oh, sorry. Were you talking to me?

Max: Yes! I've been talking to you for the past 12 hours while I've been working on my most amazing project yet.

Dr. Colosso: I ignored you for 12 hours? I gotta call and tell my mom.

Max: Stop calling your mom!

Phoebe enters the lair on the slide. She makes a flip as she approaches Max's bed.

Phoebe: Like my new skill?

Max: Annoying entrances? That's not new.

Phoebe: Whatever. What'd you wanna talk about?

Max: Phoebe, what's the best way to fight crime?

Phoebe: Oh, well, the Hero League manual says--

Max: (yells in Phoebe's face) WRONG!

Phoebe: (whimpers)

Max: The best way, is to stop it, before it happens. I give you... (lifts up the sheet) ...The "Crimecaster"!

The Crimecaster was a box-shaped device. The front had a picture of Max's face, with red lights flashing from the eyes. Several other lights flashed on there. The front reads "Crimecaster" on the bottom.

Max: It's a gadget, that crunches years of crime statistics through a state-of-the-art algorithm.

Max turns to Phoebe and shakes her.

Max: (yells in Phoebe's face) AL-GO-RITHM!

Phoebe: Did you sleep last night?

Max: NO.

Phoebe: Oh, okay.

Max: Point is, it predicts future crimes so we can use it to catch criminals in the act. (yells) IN THE ACT! (normal) I'm sorry. I really need a nap.

Phoebe: That gadget sounds unbelievable. As in I am unable to believe that it works.

The Crimecaster beeped. Lights flashed, and a paper prints out.

Crimecaster: (in Max's voice, computerized) It's crime time.

Max: Looks like it's about to prove you wrong. (takes out the paper) It says, Hiddenville High will be vandalized tonight. Unless we're there to stop it.

School of Rock - Leader of the Band Transcript

The janitor's closet/ recording studio.

Summer: Are you guys ready for our big gig tomorrow?

Tomika: (excited) Totally psyched!

Lawrence: I was born ready!

Mr. Finn: It's awesome that you set us up with this gig, Summer. (Takes a chip from a plate of chips and takes a bite out of it.)

Summer: I don't wanna take all the credit. Everything we do is a group effort.

Tomika: But you haven't even told us anything about it.

Summer: That's ridiculous, Tomiks. Of course I have.

Freddy: Where are we playing?

Summer: At the gig place.

Zack: What gig place?

Summer: The one where we're gigging.

Lawrence: When do we go on?

Summer: Right before we play.

Tomika: Did the Ramones ever play there?

Summer: It's entirely possible.

The others stared at Summer in disbelief.

Summer: There. See? Now you know everything.

***

Cut to close up of Freddy.

Freddy: I don't think the Ramones ever played here.

Cut to wide shot of the band, with their instruments in front of Waldo's Wiener World, a hot dog stand located at an outdoor food court. The School of Rock members are dressed in food costumes. Tomika is dressed as a hot dog, Zack is dressed up as a ketchup bottle, Lawrence is dressed as a bottle of mustard, Summer is dressed as a milkshake, Freddy is dressed up as a hamburger, and Mr. Finn is dressed up as French fries.

Zack: It smells like one of them might have died in this suit.

Tomika: I kinda get why you didn't wanna take all the credit now.

Summer: Well, you guys wanted a gig. It's a beautiful day, we're making music, we get discount hot dogs. (turns to Zack) Zack, solo!

Zack tries to play his guitar, but fails. SFX: [Guitar screeching]

Zack: I can't. I don't have thumbs.

Freddy: This is why so few major bands dress as food.

Lawrence: I'm just worried people are gonna come by and squeeze me. But I always think that.

Mr. Finn: Come on, guys, I've played way worse places. The Dewey Finn Experience once played a bowling alley.

Tomika: What's so bad about that?

Mr. Finn: We were on a lane. They were throwing bowling balls at us.

Summer: (aggressively) Come on, guys, let's shred! Take no prisoners! (rattles her tambourine) A-one, a-two... (normal) Oh, also, we can't leave until we've handed out a thousand of these coupons. (rattles her tambourine, aggressive) Three, four!

The band plays their instruments. Song: Waste Your Time with Me

Tomika: (singing) Everybody's always tellin' me, life is too short--

The band stops playing as the hot dog stand's owner, a man named Waldo who has a paper with the Waldo's Wiener World logo peeking out of his shirt pocket walked up to them.

Waldo: Stop! Stop! Stop! What is that noise? You told me you were gonna play my jingle.

Tomika: We're gonna. We just thought we'd start with a real song, first.

Waldo: (referring to Tomika) Ya thought wrong, Footlong. Now play the jingle or you're fired, okay?

Mr. Finn: (holds up a hot dog.) Guys, I eat here a lot. Don't blow this for me.

Waldo throws the hot dog out of Mr. Finn's hand.

Mr. Finn: Uh-oh!

Waldo: Fries don't eat hot dogs. That's an abomination.

Mr. Finn: Wow...

Waldo looks at the band, displeased.

Waldo: I don't hear singin'.

The band plays their instruments, dissatisfied. Song: Waldo's Wiener World Jingle

Tomika: (singing dissatisfied) Waldo's Wiener World. Waldo's Wiener World. Join us, every boy and girl, at Waldo's Wiener World. Where you gonna go?

All but Tomika: (singing) Waldo's Wiener World!

Tomika: (singing) Where you gonna go?

All but Tomika: Waldo's Wiener World!

Tomika: (singing) Let's all go, (with the band) Yeah, let's all go to Waldo's Wiener--

Tomika: (screaming) Rat!

Tomika takes two steps back. The rat is scurrying behind Tomika's microphone.

Summer: A rat? Where?

The band notices that the rat scurried away.

Tomika: Huh? It's gone.

Waldo: That's 'cause there are no rats at Waldo's Wiener World, okay? Not for a week! (laughs) Play the jingle.

As Waldo walked away, the band continues playing.

Tomika: (singing) Let's all go, yeah-- (stops singing)

Band: (singing) Let's all go to...

Tomika suddenly feels something crawling from inside her costume. An audible squeaking sound is heard.

Tomika: What the...?

Band: (singing) Waldo's Wiener World.

Tomika: (screaming) The rat's in my costume!

Tomika shakes uncontrollably. SFX: [Rat squeaking]

Tomika: (screaming) The rat is in my costume!

Tomika shakes so uncontrollably that her mic stand falls down.  SFX: [Mic feedback and Tomika yelping] She runs away in fear.

Cut to Summer moving her head to the side, embarrassingly. She smiles.

Cut to wide shot of the band walking out of their set.

In the classroom, Mr. Finn is teaching the class a physics lesson. He is holding a bowling ball being pulled on a string in a pendulum-like state.

Mr. Finn: Okay, gang. According to Galileo, when I let go of this bowling ball pendulum, gravity will pull it back from me and send it away without any force. So, as long as I don't move, I will be completely unharmed.

Cut to wide shot of the students in their desks. They look at each other.

Mr. Finn: I just have to trust science.

Mr. Finn inhales and exhales before he lets the ball go. After he lets go, he puts his arms up as the ball swings back and forth.

As the ball came close to Mr. Finn, he lets out a yelp.

Mr. Finn: See, folks? Completely unharmed... (As the ball came closer to him, he screams.) Aahhh!!!

Cut to Summer looking at her phone, squealing in excitement.

Cut to shot of the front of the classroom. Tomika stops the bowling ball pendulum as Mr. Finn walks up to Summer.

Mr. Finn: Nice harmony, Summer!

Summer: No! I just got an email from the owner of Gooch's, Gooch himself! He saw our video and wants School of Rock to play a gig!

The students let out some squeals of excitement when they heard the news.

Zack: A real gig at a real club?

Lawrence: Gooch's? Awesome!

Tomika: There's so much Austin history there!

Tomika gets up from her seat.

Tomika: That's where Stevie Ray Vaughan played! And Stevie Wonder! That's where all the best Stevies played. So, where did he see our video?

Summer: "What the Wow".

Mr. Finn: Oh, "What the Wow"! That's awesome and cool! That's so cool and awesome! What is that?

Freddy gets up from his seat.

Freddy: It's a site where they grab the best music videos from around the web.

Zack: I wonder how many people have seen it.

Lawrence hands Freddy his laptop and takes it to Zack's desk. The students walk to the desk to check out the sight.

Freddy: Whoa, 14,529 views. That's a lot.

Summer: Click it one more time. I need it to be even.

Zack clicks a button on the laptop.

Zack: Look at all those comments.

Mr. Finn takes Lawrence's laptop off the desk.

Mr. Finn: Dudes, do not read those comments. People are monsters on the internet.

Mr. Finn takes the laptop to his desk.

Mr. Finn: They say things they would never say in person, like this... (reads one of the comments) "Why is that giant blob jumping around like an idiot?" It could be any of us.

Summer: (reads one of the comments from Lawrence's laptop) "I mean the old guy."

Mr. Finn: (pointing around the room) So, one of the guys, then.

Tomika: (reads another comment) "The guitar player with the bad facial hair."

Mr. Finn: (concerned) Sorry, Zack, I tried to warn you about growin' out that peach fuzz.

Cut to Zack looking at Mr. Finn embarrassingly. Lawrence walks up to the front to talk to Mr. Finn.

Lawrence: It's you, Mr. Finn. You're the giant blob with the bad facial hair.

Mr. Finn: (offended) Ouch.

Tomika: Forget it, Mr. Finn. Most of these are nice. (reads a comment) "This song is why I have ears."

Summer: (reads another comment, gasps) "I love everything about this band. The girl bass player, who is the leader of the band, rocks."

Zack: (gets up from his seat) Wait. What?

Tomika: You don't think I rock?

Zack:  No, I know you rock, but leader of the band? There's not really a leader.

Summer: Right.

Zack:  I mean, if there were, it'd be me.

Summer looks at Zack, questionably.

Zack: I'm the lead guitarist. It's in the name.

Tomika: Yeah, like "lead" singer.

Freddy: Actually, I think it's me. I count us into every song.

Summer: Guys, I really don't think this matters.

Zack:  Uh, you're only saying that because you're the back-up singer.

Summer: Actually, I'm the manager.

Austin & Ally - Dancers & Ditzes Transcript

A&A Music Factory. Austin, Ally, and Dez sit on the couches.

Austin: Hey, we should do something for our anniversary.

Dez: We totally should! Ooh! Picnic in a hot air balloon?

Austin: I meant me and Ally.

Dez: Oh. Her. (flips through a magazine)

Ally: Yeah. Her. (concerned) Wait. Which anniversary are we celebrating? The day we met?

Austin: No, not the day we met. It should be the day we started dating.

Ally: The first time or the second time?

Austin: I'm not sure. Why don't we just pick a random day that has no special meaning? Like, uh, November 29th?

Ally: That's my birthday.

Austin: Duh. Now it'll be extra special. (pause) Love you.

Austin hugs Ally. Trish walks in the door.

Trish: Guess who got Ally a gig performing on this year's MVMAs?!

Dez: I'm a little tired of your guessing games. Just tell us who got her the gig.

Ally: Trish! That's incredible!

Ally hugs Trish.

Ally: I can't believe I'll be performing at this year's Miami Video Music Awards!

Austin: You have to come up with something really cool, Ally. The MVMAs are all about the big, over-the top performances.

Trish: Last year, Katy Perry did the splits on top of a rhino. And then the rhino did the splits on top of an elephant!

Dez: Pfft. Doing the splits isn't THAT hard.

Dez attempts to do the splits. Trish jumps in to help him.

Trish: Here. Let me help.

Trish helps Dez by putting her hands on his shoulders and pushing him down. Dez screams in pain.

A&A Music Factory.

Austin: So, then you jump on the dancing clown's shoulders just before the lion gets a chance to bite your head off. (jumps on Dez's shoulders)

Dez: Rawr!

Austin jumps off.

Dez: Or, we'll fill the whole place up with water, and do a swim dance with a shark.

Dez moves his arms around as if he's swimming. Austin moves his arms up and down as if he were a shark chomping. Trish and Ally react. The girls are not amused.

Ally: I like that you're both thinking big, but maybe we should stick to something a little less life-threatening.

Trish: If I can just build on what Ally's saying, your ideas are terrible and we're not doing them.

Dez's girlfriend Carrie, a blonde girl, comes inside the A&A Music Factory with smoothies.

Carrie: Hey, guys. I'm going back to LA tomorrow, so I made goodbye smoothies.

Austin, Ally, Trish and Dez each grab a smoothie.

Carrie: They have blueberries, bananas, and my tears. (tearing up) I couldn't stop crying when I was making them.

Austin, Ally, and Trish put each of their smoothies back.

Austin: No thanks.

Ally: Nope.

Trish: I'm good.

Dez: I'll take one.

Dez grabs a smoothie and drinks it.

Dez: Salty.

Austin: It's too bad you can't stay for the MVMAs next week.

Carrie: Aww, I'd love to go! I'd be able to see my favorite singer perform.

Ally: Oh, thanks!

Carrie: Oh, you're performing, too? I was talking about Becky G.

Santa's Workshop. Carl, the boss elf checks on two elves named Jingles and Tinsel, who were busy making toys.

Carl (Chris Tallman): Jingles, Tinsel. How's it going?

Tinsel (Kelly Perine): Super! And there's only 315 days left until Christmas!

Jingles (Tony Cavalero): And it's Valentine's Day. Check out this card we made for Santa to give to Mrs. Claus.

Jingles and Tinsel show Carl the card.

Carl: (reading) Aww. "To My Sweetie Pie".

A pie shoots out of the card and hits Carl in the face.

Jingles: Get it? "Sweetie Pie"?

Carl: Who'd thought Mrs. Claus would enjoy getting hit in the face with a pie?!

Tinsel: It was actually (points to Jingles) his idea. I wanted to use a cake, or a lemon tart, just really--

Carl: She doesn't want to get hit in the face with anything! You guys are supposed to be making Valentine's gifts for Mrs. Claus and getting the sleigh ready for their big date tomorrow!

Mitchell (Calum Worthy): What's the password again?

Breanna: Oh, it's "cupid123", all lowercase.

Stars: Breanna!

School Of Rock Brilliant Disguise Transcript

Freddy is seen entering Mr. Finn's classroom. Mr. Finn's classroom is flooded with overlapping chatter.

Tomika: (through the chatter) And you press this button...

Freddy: What's so exciting?

Zack: Just the greatest drummer in Austin.

Freddy: I don't know if I'm the greatest.

Zack: Not you. Lawrence built a drum machine.

Lawrence pushes a button, which played the sound of drums beating.

Mr. Finn: As a old-school rocker, I'm opposed to haircuts, the man, and a machine making music. But that box rocks!

Freddy: Okay, we already have a drum machine, Lawrence, and his mom drives you to soccer.

Lawrence: I didn't build this thing to replace you, buddy.

Freddy: Good.

Lawrence: The "Freddy 5000" has nothing to do with you.

Lawrence pushes a button, which played the sound of drums beating.

Tomika: Wow. It's like Freddy, but 5,000 times better.

Freddy: Okay, at least, it doesn't have my hair.

Lawrence: Actually, it does.

Lawrence takes out a small wig that looks like Freddy's hair and puts it on top of the drum machine.

Summer: No machine could come close to Fre-- (distracted) Oh, it is so adorable! I wanna hug it.

As Summer got close to the machine, Lawrence swipes it back.

Lawrence: And while humans get tired, nothing can stop the "Freddy 5000".

Freddy picks up the drum machine.

Freddy: Really?

The drum machine clatters and is broken in pieces. Dewey and the students all gasp.

Lawrence: I see you found its flaw.

Mr. Finn: Like so many other drummers, it went out smashed on the floor. So, now we can go back to rockin' old-school.

Tomika: Actually, not yet. I have to hit the little rockers' room.

Tomika walks out of the room for a short time, and runs back in.

Tomika: Principal Mullins is coming down the hall!

Mr. Finn: Why didn't the alarm go off? Stall her!

Tomika runs out of the room. The students scramble.

Mr. Finn: Okay, everybody, we're at DEFCON Mullins!  Lawrence, did you disconnect the security system to plug in your drum machine? That is so irrespon--

Zack: Somebody's cell phone's plugged in.

Mr. Finn gets his cell phone from Zack.

Mr. Finn: Oh, it's mine. In my defense, I got mad before I knew I was the problem. DEFCON Mullins!

***

Hallway. Principal Mullins walks up to Tomika.

Tomika: Principal Mullins! Hi! Um, I need to talk to you.

A cymbal clangs offscreen. Mr. Finn lets out a painful scream.

Tomika: But not here. Too many people around.

She pushes Principal Mullins.

Principal Mullins: But there's...there's no one...uh...

***

Mr. Finn: What? Are you sharpening these, Freddy?

The cymbal clangs on the ground.

Mr. Finn: This is another great argument for the drum machine.

The drum machine clatters on the ground.

Mr. Finn: Stupid drum machine! Mmmmm!
