Kelly hands Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan four cameras.
Kendall: Kelly, what's with the cameras?
Kelly: Gustavo wants you to shoot some videos for the future Big Time Rush website.
Logan: Cool.
Carlos: Sweet.
Kelly: So your future fans can get to know the real you. Now, get shooting and get the cameras back to me in the morning.
Kendall: All right.
The boys make poses while holding their cameras.

James: This is James from Big Time Rush. Enjoy.
James makes poses.
Palm Woods pool.
Carlos: Hey, guys? What's up? It's Carlos of Big Time Rush. I'm gonna jump in the pool with my rocket skates. Check it out.
Carlos focuses the camera to his roller skates. The roller skates had rockets taped on to each side.
Carlos: Okay, here we go. Three, two, one. Ahhhhh!
Carlos whizzes in to the pool. As he jumps in, static appears on screen.
Palm Woods, Knights' room.
James dances.

Kendall: This is what I call the hockey puck cam.
“Famous” plays in the background. Kendall fixes the camera on to the ground. He hits the camera with his hockey puck and static appears.

James dances. He kicks and static appears.
Logan: This is the lobby. Oh, and those are the elevators. (laughs) You know.
Kendall, Carlos, and James run in, clamoring.
Kendall, Carlos, James: (speaking simultaneously) Hey, Logan. I need to borrow your camera. It’s for my video.
The three tackle Logan.
Logan: This is my camera!
Static appears.
Rocque Records, Gustavo’s office.
The boys hand Gustavo and Kelly a box with the video cameras.
James: Hey, here are your videos.
Kendall: There you go.
Logan: Enjoy.
Kelly notices a camera is broken.
Gustavo screams.

Rocque Records building.
Gustavo: Boys, our album comes out in 3 months. And given our recent web video DISASTER, it's time for phase 2 of my "Get Big Time Rush on the web so people will know about you and buy your album in 3 months".
Kendall: Is that phase 2 under the sheet?
Kelly: Guys, get ready, because today, Big Time Rush is spending... "A Day with Deke".
Kelly pulls off the sheet. It revealed a monitor with a blog.
Gustavo: Hollywood's number-one entertainment music blogger.
Kelly: Guys, Dak Zevon was a nobody, until he spent the day ice fishing with Deke, then he became "the reel deal".
Kelly clicks a button on a remote. The monitor showed a post showing an image of Dak Zevon ice fishing with the headline "Dak is the Reel Deal".
Gustavo: And today, it's Big Time Rush at the famous Palm Woods pool.
The boys cheer.
Kendall: Cool. So we just have to hang out with this guy and be the real... us?
Gustavo and Kelly: (laughing, then stern voices) No.
Gustavo: I don't want him anywhere near the real you. You'll just knock him into the pool or slice off his arm with a hockey stick.
Carlos: 'Cause that's bad, right?
Kelly: Yes, because if you have a bad day with Deke, your careers could end up like Tanyon Lavell's.
Boys: Who's Tanyon Lavell?
Gustavo and Kelly: Exactly.
Gustavo: And now, I present to you, my "Day with Deke Big Time Dog Training" preparation team.
Kelly blows an air horn. A sensei, three stylists, and two business people rush in.
Business people: Change them!
The stylists tackle the Big Time Rush boys.

Mr. Bitters finds Katie on a computer.
Mr. Bitters: Hogging our free internet again?
Katie: I'm trying to create a blog. Should I go political pundit, or should I just post pictures of small animals with big heads?
Mr. Bitters: Don't care.
Mr. Bitters notices a couple carrying luggage.
Mr. Bitters: Ugh. Look at those geniuses. She'll never make it to the door.
Katie: She'll make it further than him.
Mr. Bitters: Care to make a friendly bet?
Mr. Bitters high-fives Katie.
The couple continues to carry luggage, until the husband falls over.
Katie: Ha! You lose.
Mr. Bitters: It doesn't mean you're better than me.
Katie: Yeah, it does.
Katie leaves. Mr. Bitters crumples up his popcorn bag.

Businesswoman: Boys, we've not only recreated the Palm Woods pool set for your Day with Deke...
Businessman: We've also recreated Deke.
He brings out a cardboard cutout of Deke with red and green lights.
Carlos: (points) He's so tiny!
Gustavo: Please don't say that when you see him. Because it is very important what he thinks of you. Got it?
Boys: Got it.
Gustavo: Now, good luck with your training, my young Padawans. It begins, now.
Gustavo and Kelly leave.
Businesswoman: Boys, we've analyzed every one of Deke's celebrity blogs, and have the questions he's most likely going to ask.
Businessman: So let's get started. Kendall, how would you describe BTR's music?
Kendall: Oh. Um, I'd say it's got some rock and...
A buzzer sounds as the light on the cardboard Deke flashed red.
Businesswoman: Too long! Deke wants juicy soundbites he can sink his blog into.
Businessman: Say "Big Time Rush is a fun mix of rock, pop, with a dash of R&B".
Businesswoman: Logan, if you weren't in a band, what would you be doing right now?
Logan: Studying to be a doctor.
A buzzer sounds as the light on the cardboard Deke flashed red.
Businessman: Wrong. Deke is going to think you're geeky. Say you'd rather be snowboarding.
Logan: Snowboarding?
Business people: Snowboarding.
Logan: Okay.

Carlos comforts a sobbing Logan.
Logan: (sobbing) I was seven. I didn't know what I was doing.
The buzzer continues to sound repeatedly as the boys get scared.
Logan: Could you stop it!
The buzzer still continued to go off.
Montage ends.
Carlos: Violence.
A buzzer sounds as the light on the cardboard Deke flashed red.
Businessman: Carlos, violence is never the answer. The correct answer is seven.
Businesswoman: Okay. According to those answers, we predict Deke will think you're slightly more advanced than cavemen who like corn dogs.
James: (screams) We can do better.
The boys each get up.
Logan: Yeah, we are way more developed than cavemen. Cro-Magnon even.
Carlos: And we like hot dogs, too!
Kendall: We're just four hockey players who love singing and we can't wait for people to hear our first album.
A ding sounds as a light on the cardboard Deke flashed green.
Businesswoman: Congratulations. Deke now thinks Big Time Rush is four dedicated smart and fun-loving guys who share a passion for music.
Businessman: And he's looking forward to your album.
Boys: Yes!

Rocque Records, Gustavo's office.
Gustavo is sitting in front of a desk with five cell phones.
Kelly: Shouldn't we be helping the guys?
Gustavo: We are. Welcome to phase 3 of my big time internet blitz. I'm giving the guys Scuttlebutter accounts. That way they can text their fans what's the haps. Only they won't be posting. It'll be me. Because they are stupid.
Kelly snatches the phone from Gustavo.
Kelly: Please don't do that.
Gustavo snatches the phone back.
Gustavo: It's easy. I signed up too. You just Scuttbutt fun facts about yourself. (types) "I hate Brusselssprouts". Done.
Gustavo shows the phone to Kelly.
Kelly: It's two words. "Brussels sprouts".
Gustavo types.
Gustavo: All right. Delete, delete, backspace, and cut, pa...
A whoosh sound plays from the phone.
Gustavo: What just happened?
Kelly looks at the phone.
Kelly: You just sent out a Scuttbutt saying you hate Brussels. As in the capital of Belgium.
Gustavo: Aah! Who cares?
Belgian capital of Brussels, cafe.
A man looks at his phone and and is so horrified he spits out his coffee.
Belgian man: Sacre bleu! This record producer, he says he hates Brussels!
A crowd of horrified people start clamoring.

Mr. Bitters: And now for a true test of skill. Double or nothing.
Katie: It was a friendly bet! It already is nothing. And I'm trying to think of a blog here.
Mr. Bitters: Follow the ball.
Mr. Bitters puts the ball under a cup and moves the three cups around.
Mr. Bitters: Follow the ball. Where it goes, nobody knows.
Katie: Middle.
Mr. Bitters: Wrong.
He lifts up the middle cup and reveals the ball is under it.
Mr. Bitters: What?
Katie closes up her laptop and walks up to Mr. Bitters.
Katie: Dude. You should get out. Now. Just walk away.
Mr. Bitters stares at Katie.
Katie: Seriously.
Mr. Bitters walks away.

Businessman: Boys, say hello to body language expert to the stars, Mr. Fong.
Kendall: What's with the biscuits?
Mr. Fong throws a biscuit at Kendall.
Mr. Fong: No pointing! Deke will think you are accusing. Offer a gentle smile instead.
The boys all smile, however James is too busy combing his hair.
Mr. Fong throws a biscuit at him.
James: Ow!
Mr. Fong: Deke thinks you are shallow and only care about appearances.
James: Um, is that bad?
Mr. Fong throws another biscuit at James.
The boys then shielded themselves, but Mr. Fong continued to throw biscuits at them.
Mr. Fong: Never cross your arms! Deke will think you are closed to him. You want to be open.
The boys open their arms sheepishly.
Mr. Fong: Better.
The boys take a sigh of relief and slouch. Mr. Fong starts to throw biscuits at them.
Mr. Fong: NO SLOUCHING! Now show me. Deke thinks you are... engaged.
The boys make thinking poses. The business people write in their notes.
Mr. Fong: He thinks you are cool.
The boys make cool poses. The business people write down notes while enjoying the biscuits.
Mr. Fong: Eclectic!
The boys make different poses. Kendall is meditating, Logan is reading a book, Carlos is doing a handstand, and James does a cool pose.
Mr. Fong: Smoking hot!
The boys make fashionable poses.
Mr. Fong: Now you are ready for your day with Deke.
The boys cheer, while the business people fist-bump.
Mr. Fong takes out a biscuit. The boys gasp in fear.
Mr. Fong: What? Fong is hungry. (eats biscuit)
The boys let out a sigh of relief.
Businessman: Boys, this is a test you cannot fail.
Businesswoman: You need to make this a day Deke will never forget.
Mr. Fong: What he thinks is what is.
Gustavo: And remember, our album comes out in 3 months, and the web is a powerful tool that can take BTR right to the top. And Deke.... (takes off sunglasses) is a powerful man.

Deke, a guy with a laptop strapped onto himself stands by the Big Time Rush boys.
Deke: (unenthusiastically) So you guys are Big Time Rush.
Carlos: (laughs) You're so tiny!

Boys: (in unison) Yeah. We are. Big Time Rush.
Deke: So how would you describe BTR's music?
Kendall: Big Time Rush is a fun mix of rock, pop, with a dash of R&B.
Deke types on his laptop.
Deke: What would you be doing if you weren't in a pop band?
Logan: (gets up) Snowboardin'. It's kinda my thing. Yeah! You know, half-pipe?
Deke types on his laptop.
Deke: And who are you?
James: Me? (does a pose) I'm James.
Deke types on his laptop. The boys look at him optimistically.

Gustavo types on two laptops.
Gustavo: I love the web. Web, web, web. Right now, the boys are winning over Deke, and thanks to Scuttlebutter, (clicks a button) I'm getting the big time word out all over the world.
Kelly turns and notices Gustavo's face on a news broadcast.
Kelly: Why are you on TV?
Kelly unmutes the TV. Gustavo turns to the TV.
TV news report.
News reporter: Gustavo Rocque is back in the news for sparking outrage in Belgium. After posting on Scuttlebutter that he hates Brussels, Belgian-Americans in L.A.'s Little Antwerp are burning his records and boycotting his latest project, Big Time Rush.
Cut to protesters in Little Antwerp.
Gustavo screams so loud we see a wide shot of the Rocque Records building.
Pan to the Palm Woods pool.
Deke types on his laptop.
Deke: Okay, done.
Carlos: What? That's it?!
Deke: "Big Time Rush is just another band force-fed upon us by the music industry. From the blogger that only writes the truth, it's clear they're full of rehearsed sound bytes, choreographed body language, and no real substance."
James: (yelps) Aah!
Deke: "I suspect their hair, words, wardrobe, and singing is done for them."
Kendall facepalms.
Deke: "Don't buy their album." Bye.
Deke closes up his laptop and leaves. The boys get up.
Logan: Well, training didn't work.
Kendall: It's time for Plan B. As in "be ourselves".
The boys start clamoring as they follow Deke into the lobby.
Kendall: Deke! Wait! We're sorry. That wasn't us out there.
James: Just give us a second chance.
Logan: You can't leave yet. It's "A Day with Deke".
Carlos: Yeah, not "Five Minutes with Deke".
Deke: My blog seeks the truth, and the truth here is, you're nothing but overdressed, corporate pop butts!
James: (yelps)
Deke: Now, I'm going back to the coffee shop to proof this, and post it to my blog and tell everyone that Big Time Rush is a big waste of time.
James tackles Deke and throws him in a supply closet.
Carlos, Kendall, and Logan: James!
James then locks the door.
Carlos, Kendall, and Logan: What was that?!
James: Plan C?

Logan: Okay, disconnected the Wi-Fi, so Deke can't post his blog from here.
Deke: (through door) Darn it!
Carlos: We also disconnected the cable TV, telephone, air conditioning, and all the garden hoses, just in case.
Deke: (through door, bangs) You can't stop the truth!
Kendall: Look! If you just agree to spend the rest of the day with us, like you promised...
James: And let us prove we're not phonies...
Logan and Carlos: We'll let you out.
Deke: (through door) Okay! I will!
The boys cheer.
Kendall opens the door and Deke comes out. James pats his shoulder.
Deke yells and tries to fight the boys. They push him back inside the closet and lock the door.
Deke: (through door, bangs) As soon as I get internet access, you guys are big time finished!
Kendall: Well, let's look on the bright side. This is definitely a day Deke will never forget.

Mr. Bitters: Wi-Fi's down. Besides, sounds like somebody's scared.
Katie walks away. Mr. Bitters makes chicken sounds. She turns back.
Katie: Oh, just give me a paddle.
Katie plays championship music on a boombox. Mr. Bitters makes poses. He points to her.

Kendall: Uh, well, we didn't really plan on this, but when amazing opportunities come, you have to--
Deke: (through door) Can someone elaborate on that?
James: Sure. Well, it was my dream to be a pop star, but my buds helped me get to the audition--
Deke: (through door) Where do you see yourself in 20... (voice distorts)
The boys look confused.
Logan: Oh no! His battery died!
James, Kendall, and Carlos: Wait, what?
They open the door. It was revealed that "Deke's" voice came from a tape recorder. The air duct was open.
James: He's in the ducts!
The boys run.
Air ducts.
Deke: All I have to do is find a hard-wired computer and expose the big time truth!
James: Yeah, well, the truth is we do so sing! Observe.
Kendall: (singing) C...
Logan: (singing) C...
Carlos: (singing) C...
James: (singing with boys) C...
Deke: Not bad. But I will destroy you!
Deke continues to crawl. The boys chase him.
Boys: Go, go, go, go, go!
Deke: I feel so sweaty. And, man, it's hot in here!
Deke stops to wipe his sweat.
Boys: Do you want some water?
Deke: Do you have sparkling?
Carlos runs into the supply closet.
Logan: One second.
James: He's coming.
Carlos returns with a bottle of sparkling water.
Carlos: Hey. Catch.
Carlos throws the bottle to Deke.
Deke: Thanks.
He takes a sip of his water.
Deke: Ahh. Later, losers!
Deke crawls.

The boys hear loud clanging from the ducts.
Deke crawls once more until he accidentally falls out of the duct.
Deke: (through duct) Oww!
Kendall: So, uh, what are we looking at here?
Logan: False imprisonment, involuntary manhunting. I would say at least 100 hours' community service.
Boys: Ouch.
Loud clanging comes from the ducts.
Carlos: Is he going back up?
Ducts.
Deke climbs back up.
Deke: That was kinda fun.
He slides back down.
Deke: Whee!
Outside.
Carlos: Which way did he slide?
Logan: I don't know!
The boys run to catch Deke.
James: We can't lose him, he thinks we're big time phonies!
The boys follow the clanging sounds.
Kendall: He went that way!
Ducts.
Deke: Where are you, internet connection?
He continues to crawl until he notices a classroom with a set of computers.
Deke: Jackpot.
Deke takes the vent cover off and gets ready to land.
Deke: Now I land in the chair, plug in, and bye-bye, big time phonies.

Kelly: Wait. Aren't Belgian waffles supposed to be, you know, really thick?

James: Why does he think we're phonies, hmm? He should like us!
Kendall: Why would he like us? Because I've gotta be honest, I don't like us right now.
Kendall walks up to the trash can.
Kendall: Worse than that, since when did we start caring about what people think about us? It's what we think about ourselves that matters.
Carlos: I think we might have let the marketers put words in our mouths.
Logan: I think Mr. Fong's biscuits may have caused temporary insanity.
Deke: (through trash can) Ha-ha, finally a true statement.
Kendall: And do you guys realize we never even questioned these outfits?
James: I think we look good.
Deke: (through trash can) It's a little overdone.
James: Quiet, you.

Kendall: And the truth is, with our album coming out soon, there's a lot of pressure, and it kinda got to us.
James: We hope you can forgive us.
Logan: And we hope you don't press charges.
